Homework Answers

Answer #1

In my opinion, no. Technological progress helps workers to improve productivity. For example- use of assembly line production methods in automobiles have made job easier for workers and also production went up.

Painting of goods with the help of robots have made worker life easy. However, It can be said that technology has certainly replaced workers in many fields. for example- CCTV cameras replaced many security people. Artificial intelligence also threatens many jobs in future. Technology also creates jobs in new areas like servicing of electronic goods, electric cars.

In a few areas technological progress may hurt workers. Example- dependence on online transactions may delay payments in developing countries where all do not have access to technology.

Thinking at large technology has made workers life better.
