Part A) In today’s world Neolocal residence is trending in the western countries and Patrilocal system is being followed in Eastern countries. Though, a general trend is being observed where the society is shifting to the Neolocal system of residence. This is being considered to be the most ideal residence pattern due to the changing needs, preferences and lifestyles.

Part B ) As for myself, the most difficult residence pattern would be the patriarchal residence. Coming from a matriarchal family, the sudden shift in the family system and adapting way things are done in a patriarchal family would be very difficult.
