Briefly discuss why US treasury is sending stimulus checks (Corona Virus stimulus) to taxpayers.

Due to the corona virus crisis, major businesses which includes airlines, hospitality industry, food industry etc are very hard hit as a result of which many of the people are unemployed and specially the people who depend on daily wage are also hardly affected by this as a result of which you have to understand that this is something that is not desired which makes the people living very hard and therefore in order to to arrange for their living the government is sending the stimulus checks to taxpayer so that they would sustain the situation on the whole
