Answer #1

The NHS is the most public loved institution and its popularity is rising.

The financial requirements of NHS Is increasing as large part of the population is growing older an need medical attention.

Currently NHS is struggling to meet the demands of increasing health care facilities providing to the citizens owing to the rise the cost of inputs like medicines and medical equipment. Also, the contracts of the employees had been renewed in 2017 and since the new pay scale is also exerting pressure on it.

The maintenance of medical facilities and amenities like buildings and infrastructure too are increasing and hence the relative rise in the increase in funding support extended by the budget provision is lesser compared to the requirements and anticipated demand for health care till 2020.
