Should retailers have the freedom to advertise any products to anyone, regardless of age? Why, or why not? Provide real-world examples to support your position.
In my opinion retailers should only have relative freedom in advertising any products to anyone. There should be minimum age limit to protect children from consuming harmful item that may jeopardise their health.
For example, tobacco products maybe very harmful for a 12 year old child. There should be a regulation by the government to ensure that such harmful products don't reach those below 18 years of age.
However, I am also of the opinion that after 18 years, retailers should have freedom to advertise their products to anyone regardless of age so that freedom to consume what one wishes to consume is protected.
