The article "The High Line Park and Timing of Capitalization of Public Goods" talks about the implication of constructing the High Line Park in New York City on the house prices in the nearby areas of the park.The High Line park was opened in June 2009, on the west side of Manhattan near the Hudson River.The construction had a direct impact on the prices of the houses that further led to large amount of property taxes collected by the city in the year 2010. Opening of park led to other development as well such as opening of new businesses and trade house.
