Because according to the contract, Logan is obliged to deliver 500 Appalachian State University branded hats by April 2017. This means Logan has to deliver 500 Appalachian State University branded hats with correct spelling that too by April 2017. If Logan is unable to deliver 500 Appalachian State University branded hats by April 1, 2017, this will be considered as a Breach of Contract. Even the delivery of 499 hats would be considered a breach of contract. Due to this breach of contract, Seap may file a lawsuit against Logan to seek redressal for the breach of contract. Logan may have to face consequences.

Therefore, Logan should deliver 50 replacement hats with the correct spelling by April 1, 2017.
