Although the question doesn't explain much, as fas my knowledge goes, there are a few major drawbacks -

a. According to the Keynesian economic theory, spending is encouraged to end a recession. If everyone stops spending or lessens it extensively, the economy will have a very minimal amount of money as a tax to spend. Then it will rely on exports and borrowings, which is nowhere sounding logical.

b. A major criticism of the budget system is that doesn't deal with the issues of government objectives, neither does it deal with the combination of inputs which is efficient enough to deal with services.

Classical economists and Keynesian economists disagree about what the government should do when the economy experiences high levels of unemployment. A big difference between the two theories is that: Keynesian theory emphasizes correcting the economy on its own because of the three lags, while classical economic theory supports economic changes that benefit consumers of a country. Keynesians emphasize increases in total spending (aggregate demand), while classical economists emphasize increases in production (aggregate supply). All of the listed answers are differences...

Every summer, a large number of the world’s sports economists meet for a conference in a major city in the western United States. If the schedule permits, the economists always try to go to a local sporting event, such as a MLB, MLS, or National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) game while they are there. Should the economists’ spending at these events count as economic impact for the city? Why or why not?
