Answer #1

The Industrial Revolution was a major shift in technical, social, and cultural conditions happening in some Western countries in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. This originated in Britain and spread all over the world, a cycle that goes on as industrialization. The advent of the Industrial Revolution marked a major turning point in human social history, comparable to agricultural innovation or the rise of the first city-states; it gradually affected almost every aspect of everyday life and human culture. When national border controls became more active, disease transmission was reduced, thereby avoiding previously common epidemics. The percentage of children who lived in the past rose substantially, resulting in a larger workforce. The Enclosure movement and the British Agricultural Revolution made food production more efficient and less labor-intensive, forcing the surplus population, for example weaving, who could no longer find employment in agriculture, into the cottage industry and into the cities and newly developed factories in the longer term.

The conflict resulted in the conduct of most British warfare overseas, reducing the devastating effects of territorial conquest that affected much of Europe. This was further reinforced by the geographical position of Britain an island separated from the rest of continental Europe. Another idea is that in the Industrial Revolution, Britain was able to succeed because of the abundance of key resources it had. For its small geographical size, it had a dense population.

Strengthening trust in the rule of law following the establishment in Britain of the model of constitutional monarchy in the Glorious Revolution of 1688, and the emergence there of a stable financial market based on the Bank of England's management of national debt, led to the ability and interest in private financial investment in industrial undertakings. Nearly all public offices excluded or discouraged dissenters, as well as education at England's only two universities at the time. In the new mills and factories, ordinary workers found increased employment opportunities, but these were often in strict working conditions with long hours of work dominated by a speed set by machines. Long before the industrial revolution also took place, however, harsh working conditions prevailed. Prior to the Industrial Revolution, pre-industrial society was very static and often cruel child labour, dirty living conditions and long working hours were just as prevalent.
