Both events, The great depression and the great recession of 2008, affected the economy of the country very badly. It had various adverse effects on the employment, stock market, and banks of the country, and the income level of the people in the country also declined due to which government took various measures that were common in both the events.
The government mainly focused on increasing the output, so; various actions were taken to revive their global market. The government also took various amendments in their tax policies; changes were also made in the fiscal policies.
The government hoped that improving the performance of the country in the international market can raise their country from the adverse effects of both the events so that the problems of the people in the country can be solved.
