But only one area is where the decline is not seen ie from deaths due to obesity. Even when healthcare and medical facilities have improved, a decline in deaths due to obesity is not seen in US from the period of 1981 to 2009.
More than one third of the population in US is affected by obesity.
Deaths from obesity include strokes, diabetes etc which are preventable . Childhood obesity most likely continues and becomes a reason for premature death.
