1) Yes, rational decision-making is better than intuitive decision making. Intuitive decision making is instinctive, subjective and subconscious in nature. There is no logic involved in it. It may or may not turn out fruitful.
On the other hand, Rational decision making processes consist of a sequence of steps designed to rationally develop a desired solution. So, it is scientific and the decision is taken hoping and expecting to get a desired result. Hence, rational decision-making is better than intuitive decision making.
