Compare France and Mexico Institutions.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

France is a highly developed nation with good quality institutions, while Mexico is a developing country with ill functioning institutions. The administration in france is very efficient and there is proper monitoring of the utilization of funds while the administration in Mexico is characterised by corruption and red tape. This can be gauges from the poor service quality in government offices in Mexico as compared to efficient official procedures in France. The police and the legal institutions are also far better functioning in France. Due to high corruption, the police forces join hands with bribing criminals in Mexico and the legal procedure is a nightmare for a genuine victim. The condition of unfinished or poorly finiahed infrastructure projects also reflects the inefficient institutions in Mexico while such projects are completed well within time in France. Therefore, the French institutions are far superior in quality compared to the Mexican institutions.
