Petroleum workers earn higher wages due to higher cost of labor and higher risks as well as higher roles and responsibilities based on hierarchy.

Moreover due to lack of qualified supervision skills amd management skills oil workers work on production end which leads to lower demand and higher availability and hence wages decrease.

For Petroleum workers, availability is low and supervision roles are higher leading to higher wages.
