According to my opinion the expansion of executive power over time is both negative and positive development. The reasons are as follows

Positive Development: If the executive power has an expansion the people or the leaders who have such powers for example Presidents of the countries or C.E.O of the companies if they have really or genuine good thoughts about the betterment of there respective area of work then they will utilize such expanded executive powera for the betterment.

Negative development: If the Leader has not so good thoughts about his area of then he will misuse the powers against the betterment.
