1. As per my views the motivation is very much dependent on the age of a person for example the amount of responsibilities increases with time and hence it motivate person to a greater level as compared to the motivations that one have during the teen ages but this also decreases when a person acquire a certain age or complete his/her responsibilities. Therefore motivation is an age dependent property.

2. The theory that can be used to explain the motivation towards learning of college going students is Alderfer – ERG theory and precisely the Growth need of the Alderfer theory which accounts for the personal growth and self development of an individual.
