Answer-If I had a choice, I would choose to host a mega-event such as the world cup or Olympics because-

1.It will increase the popularity of my city as players from the all over world will visit my city for their games.

2.It will boost the confidence of the athletes of my country as my city is the host city.

3.It will help in the increase in the attraction of tourists as my city is selected for such big events.

4.My city will earn a lot of revenues by hosting these events as well as the local vendors will also be benefitted from this.

5.It will leads to the many infrastructure developments in my city.

6.By hosting such mega - event my city will get international attraction.
