Answer #1

Suppliers chose Facebook as marketing platform since they have a lot of users logging onto it. Online platform is a kind of indirect and cost effective medium for suppliers to advertise their products. Prospective buyers contact sellers wherein the hit ratio of marketing increases.

In recent times we observe that a lot of young users are shifting to Snapchat instead of Facebook which will definitely affect the suppliers. When the users are less it means the consumer base is less. Suppliers will now have to go in search of consumers than the consumers coming in search of suppliers. Suppliers will now have to design or formulate an appropriate strategy to attract the right market segment.
