The great depression was a worldwide economic fall down started in US after a major fall in stock , in great depression gross domestic product fall why 15% due to this the rate of unemployment increases according to NBER data, unemployment rate in 14.7 %. After Next several year consumer spending and investment fall. in the great depression 15 million Americans were unemployed. During the great depression half of the US bank had failed.
So we can say that the great depression directly related to unemployment.
