Explanation
: As the name suggests, the median can be defined as the middle number that is calculated by dividing the total numbers by 2. In this case, in order to find out the median age of senior citizens who own bicycles, we divide the total number of senior citizens which are equal to 25 by 2.
(Note: also in calculating median, we need to arrange the number from least to greatest. In the question, it is already done however)

At 12.5th place, comes the age 73 and 73. Although the answer is 73 but since it is 12.5 then either 12th or 13th place can be median. In this case we take average of both numbers (73+73/2 =146/2 =73.)

Hence the median age of senior citizens who own bicycles is 73. (Option B)
