In the context of the above statement that "Leadership class needs to discuss and analyze, give samples and advice" we will try to understand the concept of leadership and what it must deliver. The basic question that comes to one's mind is -  What is Leadership? To know what is leadership, one must first encounter himself/herself with the things that leadership is not. In brief, we may cite that leadership is not management. Leadership has nothing to do with seniority or one's position. It neither has anything to do with titles nor with personal attributes. When we say leadership, we identify an attribute or a quality but precisely a responsibility by which we mean that individuals with such capacity are leaders and leaders lead people. Leadership may be termed as a social influence which maximizes the efforts of others towards the achievement of a goal. In the words of Bill Gates "As we look ahead into the next century, Leaders will be those who empower others.

When we mention what a leadership class must deliver, it is very important to mention that leadership cannot be learnt from a book. The subject matter of leadership is broad and the ways of delivering it correctly must infuse creativity and hard work-just what a person with a leadership quality would do. When we say that leadership class must discuss and analyse, it means that a leadership class must discuss the aspects of leadership and analyse the strategies of a self-leader.To reflect upon the intention of achieving focus or clarifying what a leader is responsible for and his team is accountable to should be the major areas of concern. It must also analyse and discuss the aspects of strong ethics and safety which would empower others to self organize along with fostering a sense of connection and belonging. Also to analyse the various leadership competencies that contribute to superior performance. To discuss the different kinds of leadership styles ( such as Autocratic, Democratic, Collaborative, Laissez-faire, Transformational and Transactional) and later to demonstrate on how to determine an appropriate style.

when we further mention that leadership class needs to give samples and advice, we try to explain the importance of citing examples of great leaders and their deeds so that individuals have a clearer idea on the subject. A pictorial description or a group activity on leadership models could be easily understood by people than just reading about them in textbook theories. Citing samples/examples will help individuals to examine the role of a leader who is an influencer. It will further help them know about the capacity of each leader to translate 'vision into reality'. In the meanwhile, the advice seems to hold an important part in the entire process. This part will attempt to generate a developed sense of who the individual is, what he/she can do? where he/she is going? and if he /she has been coupled with the ability to influence his/her communication, emotions and behaviours on the way of getting somewhere. It will create a sense of self-awareness, self-goal setting,self-motivation, positive self-talk, assertive communication and the ability to receive and act on feedback that forms an integral part of the intentional behaviours which characterises leadership.
