Inorder to reduce inflation due to increased government spending Federal Reserves of US raised the discount rate. But there was no use. The increased fraud activities ,domestic spending activities of the President , Military expenses,and increasing interest rate worsened the situation. During this time less than half of all national government expenditure were classified as uncontrollable.
