World War II, also termed as the Second World War, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945. The devastation from World War I created instability in Europe; and several aspects issues which remained unresolved were the main cause that set the stage for World War II. It was the deadliest and biggest war in history, involving more than 30 nations. The economic and political instability in Germany, and lingering resentment due to the tough terms imposed by the Versailles Treaty, ignited the rise to power National Socialist (Nazi) Party and it's leader Adolf Hitler. They rearmed the country and signed strategic treaties with Japan and Italy for dominating the world. In September 1939, Hitler’s invasion of Poland drove France and Great Britain to declare war on Germany and from there broke the World War II.
