1. Olivia has a 60-foot yacht that was not under control by anyone as there was a party going on under deck. Olivia allowed the boat to drift and eventually it drifted into the Long Beach dock. The shock of the accident caused a barrel of diesel fuel to tip over and start on fire which destroyed two Mercedes and a Bentley. All three were parked next to the barrel in a no parking zone. What is Olivia’s defense? What is the argument of the car owners?

The Olivia's will defend his case by simply stating the fact that all the three cars were parked in a no parking zone and this is a case of contributory negligence. In this case contribution for the loss of three cars will be borne by both olivia and car owners as both were at the fault

olivia yacht hit the dock because of no control over yacht and the three car owner parked their car in a no parking zone is prohibitory as it can infuse fine and penalties  

argument of the car owner is the yacht is owned by olivia and if any mishappening happens because of the fault from olivia i.e. yacht hitting the dock and then diesel barrel got fire is the fault of olivia and olivia should compensate for the loss of all the three cars.

olivia is responsible for the damage caused to all the three cars
