There are usually 10 knowledge areas in project management namely project integration management,scope management, schedule management,cost management, quality management, resource management, communications management, procurement management and risk management .

Project integration management in a main knowledge area of project management as it helps to integrate all the plans ,discussions , elements of a projects . It tries to solve the issues among the employees and teaches them to act collectively .

Project risk management is an area that focusses on the probable risks the company/ the organisation may face from time to time . It finds out a problem ,analyse it and then finds a solution for it so that there won't be any disturbances in the completion of that project .
