Answer #1

A federal budget deficit occurs when a government's total expenditures exceed the revenue that it generates, exclusive of the money from borrowings. In fiscal 2018 it has surged to $779 billion due to the tax cuts thus causing the government to borrow more heavily in order to cover its spending. Different policies to reduce a budget deficit includes reducing the government spending; increasing taxes; bailout from an international organisation; promoting economic growth. The best approach is to use a combination of policies; and targeting for positive economic growth
