What does it mean to be responsive in the Age of Responsibility? Provide examples, and explain the trade-off between responsiveness and scalability
Let us first define key terms:
Responsive: means reacting to a stimulus. Or replying to people or events.
Scalable: It is a property of a person or a system to handle growing amount of work by adding resource/resources to the system.
In the age of responsibilty, If any person/system makes efforts then with improved response, scalability will also come.
There is difference between being responsive and reactive. A reaction may be impulsive and may have negative effects e.g. Anger for someone elses action. but response is always well thought even during emergency.
Scalability, in my opinion is accomodating to changes in professional life. A person should accomodate according to the needs of a profession/scale of work.Eg. Any good corporate accomodates changes, responds with suitable resources and improves scalability. Eg. Sony/Apple.
