Answer #1

John Stuart mill was in favour of economic liberalisation and non interference of the government. He believed that individuals are better acknowledged of their own interest then the government. Individuals according to him have a greater understanding of their own surroundings then any government agent or bureaucrat. There is more knowledge in the minds of members of society then anyone or group of government officials could ever know. He was also of the view that government can monopolize the situation faced by Businessman so that it would create obstacles in the path of innovation and creativity which are extremely close to business. Due to these reasons John Stuart mill was against government intervention in business.
