Homework Answers

Answer #1

There are total 100 cans of tomato sauce.

Out of these, 70 cans are sold to the final consumers whereas 30 are unsold.

Out of 70 cans sold to final consumers, 60 cans are sold for 12TL eacn and 10 cans are sold for 13TL each.

Unsold stock is valued at cost price.

The unsold cans are purchased for 11TL.

Calculate increase in GDP -

Increase in GDP = [60 * 12TL] + [10 * 13TL] + [30 * 11TL]

Increase in GDP = 720TL + 130TL + 330TL

Increase in GDP = 1,180TL

Thus,

Due to these transactions, GDP in 2015 is increased by 1,180TL
