Are the Russian people better off now under their new and current economic and governmental structure, or were their lives better while under the communist system?

Russian life is better off in their new economic system rather than communist system because in this economic system people can have their own personal growth. In communist system people will have dictators who make them to listen to them even if they are not ready where as here they have their individual freedom to take decision. In communist system people will not have any financial freedom to take decision of what they want but now they have the freedom to spend what they earn. In this new system the government is liable to people and they government can't have any power on individual property.

So Russian have a better freedom in new economic system rather than communist system.
