Homework Answers

Answer #1

Ans. Effects i would expect are

1. LOW PRICES: If government take over Wegmans and other grocery stores, it is likely that the public will get goods at a lower price than the price provided by the private stores . Hence people will be able to afford more and thre will be less poverty .

2. REDUCED POVERTY : When the stores are taken by government , the prices will be lowered to an extent which is affordable by even the minority of the country and when everybody will get enough to eat , definitely the rate of poverty will decline and nobody will die of hunger for sure .

3. INCREASED COMPETITION : Since government will take over and also sell for lower prices, then the other private stores will face a high competition as people will prefer going to the store with less prices .
