He questioned the vulnerability of consumer in mass scale production. In his words, without local economies, people do not have the power and voice. The local economy comes with the idea of the food economy. Also, people are trying to reduce the distance between producers and consumers and find a more direct connection between them. Consumers are trying to learn from the local towns and cities and preserve the local economy farmers and farm communities. The local economy is the primary source of good quality food. He added the idea is that the local economy has two principles like neighborhood and substance. The farm communities always trying to protect them local products.
