supports the fact that every individual has the right to get
education untill a certain period. Education is the most
fundamental right of a human being. Also, education makes better
and skillful work force which will in turn benefit the economy.
Therefore, education should not be denied to anybody and should be
mandated everywhere and for everyone.
In my opinion, the equal protection and the Due process clauses of
the 14th amendment does support the arguments made for a right to
literacy. It guarantees everyone equal protection rights by law,
therefore, it would be safe to say that it will also guarantee same
equality in the matters of education to all.
