Thoughts on this: The concept of national sovereignty is the right of a government to have its own authority of their country without the inference of another country. Every country has the right to make and enforce their own laws/policies that govern it based on what they believe and value. For America, there are other countries who don't have the same values as we do. These countries try to pressure America to change their policies to match their own.

A example of globalization would be the NAFTA agreement. The North American Free Trade Agreement was created to allow trade to be without government interference and have fewer costs on America, Canada, and Mexico.  NAFTA opened up the trade markets between these three countries.

National sovereignty is a concept which is related to the right of a government to govern its country without having any interference from any external force. It is the right of each country to form different types of laws and practices which are used to govern on the basis of beliefs and values.

In context to America, there are a number of countries whose values are different than that of America. Some kind of pressure is exerted by these countries to change American policies to have sync with their policies.

NAFTA agreement is a typical example of globalization which was created to facilitate free trade among on America, Canada, and Mexico without any government interference for having lower costs.
