Concerning adverse possession and easement by prescription, where land maybe acquired through prolonged and unauthorized occupation, what is your opinion of these laws and circumstances.

Our view is that this is clearly wrong. Till we enforce property rights based on land and justice neither there will be growth and development nor social justice. It also means that institutions are corrupt and do not work inefficiently. Such a law is against growth because there will be no incentive to purchase land for developing as it can be illegally acquired by others. Circumstances which help such action are political appeasement of encroaches by ruling class for vote bank.,tradition,institutions which do not enforce political rights, war and crisis in country whereby gun and power matters and so on
