As people engage in more international travel and become more familiar with other countries, will cultural difference decline as a roadblock to international understanding or will the continue to be a major barrier? Defend your answer. Why are multinational enterprises getting involved in corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices? Are they displaying a sense of social responsibility or it is merely a matter of good business, or both?
In my opinion people travel in many countries and become more familiar with other countries it declines the cultural barrier. When people engage in more international travel, they are learning more about the cultures and the people’s mindset there, thus reflects the more educated they will be in understanding customs and traditions in the country that they are travelling to. Cultural values develop slowly and resistant to change thus it will at a slow pace and gradually decline. As people become more mobile across countries, there will be a blending of the cultures, and will be putting efforts of breaking down the barriers and develop an appreciation of cultural diversity
