ORU recently hired a new Bus Law professor, Jezebel Wiccan, who recently retired from the United States Supreme Court. ORU was thrilled at hiring such an esteemed individual and forgot to ask her about her religious beliefs. On the first day of class, Ms. Wiccan launched into a prayer to the sun, moon, and goddess of the fruit flies to bless her first class at ORU. Realizing the mistake, ORU fires Ms. Wiccan and has her escorted off the campus. The next day ORU hires her replacement, Fred Creek, who is a local attorney, obviously male, and not nearly as bright. Does Ms. Wiccan have a cause of action against ORU for discrimination? If so, on what basis?
Yes, of course Ms. Wiccan have a cause of action against ORU for discrimination because the ORU has not asked her about her religious beliefs. It is not the fault of Jezebel Wiccan to preach her religious prayers, she do or launched her prayer according to her daily routine. If she was awere obot the rules and regulations of the ORU she can't dare to do so. Or if she do that Ms Waccan doesn't has any cause to take any kind of action against ORU. Ms Waccan has the right to take action against yhe ORU for discrimination and she must deserves it.
