Extra 4-5 years spent in med school, the student has to sacrifice this time which he could use for other activities like sleeping, wandering, etc.

For med school student has to foregone opportunity of working in other fields, thus they lose the salary which he could earn otherwise.

Students rack up debt they have to pay for the expenses of room and food for studying in school, which they otherwise would not incur.
