Government should regulate the economy more and help correct situations in the market. They must keep many regulations to protect employees and control the amount of power the private sector has. They must have an average control over these firms sp that the public needs can be met. Government can apply laws, pass legislatures and interfere when market failures and situations happen. Government provide goods for the public. Hence the private sector become much more public friendly.Examples are the scandals of the pharmaceutical industry and the pricing of drugs. The government acted late and inaction was there from the government due to which the pricing run was there for some time.
Certainly the laws passed such as the anti monopolistic drug pricing laws has certainly helped curb the negative effects of corporate greed.
