what is an example of movment along demand curve and shift in demand curve.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Demand curve is made from combination of prices and quantity demanded. If price increases, then quantity demanded decreases and vice versa.

So if there are movement in price or if there are any price changes then we have movement along the demand curve.

If there are exogenous changes for example if taste and preference changes for example if taste develop for that product, then demand curve will shift rightward. Or for example there are substitute and complements, then also there is shift in demand curve.
