the middle-class and the wealth gap issues discussed given what we know about the recession and financial crisis we've experienced since 2008. Does your perspective about the financial crisis, manipulated by financial institutions and mortgage lenders, change at all? Do your thoughts about the impact of the financial crisis and following recession on different groups change?
Perspective about the financial crisis is driven by the job market conditions, job opportunities available to me and salaries / wages available to me as a middle class job seeker. These details are factual and does not get affected by what other agencies and institutions say or predict. So, perspective will remain same or if changes, then it will only be due to the change in real improvement palpable in the economy.
My thought is that all the groups on the basis of income, and other demographic characteristics, will have more sufferings due to lower wage and high supply of workers in the labor market. So, wealth gap as well as income inequality will further increase. It will make these groups to find it more difficult to cover the expenses of healthcare and higher education.
