How does Poverty affect people in their everyday lives?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Poverty usually do not affect people who are not poor. When they have higher affordability in terms of resources and income, they usually do not care about the level of poverty in their state or in their country. However those who are poor face extreme situations due to poverty including shortage of food, education, deprivation of access to basic amenities lack of health and hygiene, etc. In longer term however, when resources are taken away from the rich and are given for distributed among the poor than the everyday lives of the rich changes. The prices of goods they purchase increase, their income is reduced and so is there consumption after the distribution of income. Therefore poverty can lead to changes in the standard of living of both rich and poor.
