Should Google appeal that decision?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

If Google would get to comply with that decision of EU, then Google gets the previliges of owing a monopoly base where the price structure and the profits would vary a lot than before. Google has its high market dominance and also it has to bear the fine for handling some illegal advantage over certain competitive issues on the whole. However, Google must cleanly appeal that decision as in the search engine market there are numerous other searches including bing, duck etc an instead it's a part of an oligopoly. However the dominance of certain companies like Google and Facebook seem them as monopolies but they are actually not.
