Suppose you were asked to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of a proposed regulation that would reduce air pollution in an urban area by a certain amount. What method(s) would you use to do so? (ex: What are some measures you could take to make sure that your recommendation was both economically efficient and just? Justify your answer.

Methods that could be used to control air pollution in an urban area :

• Plant more trees: this methods ka economic (will not cost much) as well as just. It is the most simple and affective method I can use in order to reduce air pollution. Motivating residence to plant at least one tree will help in the reduction of air pollution.
• Use of public transport: encouraging people to use public transport instead of their own vehicle in alternate days can also he helpful in reducing the air pollution. When people will travel more in public transport like Metro (which is environment friendly) the amount of pollution emitted from their vehicles will be less. This methods is also economic as it does not cost anything and fair for everyone.
