Answer #1

Stress ,fight or flight in the long run lead to production of cortisone and thus cause mental disorders. In the lng run it changes the structure of the brain and its function, thus causing health issues. Overproduction of cortisone leads to changes in the structure of the brain, including the volume of gray matter versus white matter, and the size and connectivity of amygdala, thus leading to health issues in the long run.

It has been found through research on brain that overproduction of cortisone, and change in the structure of brain leads to large amount of production of myelin producing cells and it produces lesser neurons than produced in the normal state. Thus Stress, fight or flight for long period of time lead to overproduction of cortison which ultimately lead to changes in the structure of brain. This has got negative impact on the health of the person.
