Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer :

Demand for the newly released book will increase due to promotion by Jade, the host of influential talk show.

As can be seen in the figure above, the demand curve has shifted to the right from D1 to D2, due to promotion by Jade for the newly released book in his show, the host of influential talk show.

Quantity demanded in the market will increase.

If the seller keeps the price same after the promotional event, new quantity demanded will be Q2 (Shift from Q to Q2)

If the seller increases the price from P to P1 as a result of increase in demand in the market, the new quantity demanded in the market will be Q1 (Shift from Q to Q1)
