Is Education Creating Value
for You?
The concept of a value chain can be used to examine the role
your education plays in your life plans, if you look closely at your
personal development plans (education, internship, work, physical
and emotional fitness, and extracurricular activities) and
think about them in terms of primary and support activities. If we
use the logic that the amount of value you receive from your
education is the difference between the costs (e.g., tuition, time,
lost income) and what you receive in the form of education (e.g.,
knowledge, tools, networks), how does your choice of major
area of focus in your education fit into your personal development
strategy? How do your choices of how you spend your time
fit into your value chain? Do you ever spend time doing things
that do not support the strategic goals of your personal value
chain? But, most importantly, what is the one thing you should
do more of to drive the value higher for yourself today and in the
future?

Is eduaction creating value for you? please give me your opinion based on the above explation .

You might hear people say that they “need to learn to live within a budget.” The funny thing is that most people who say this haven't actually prepared a personal budget, nor do they intend to. Instead, what they are referring to is a vaguely defined, poorly specified collection of rough ideas of how much they should spend on various aspects of their lives. However, you can't live within or even outside of something that doesn't exist. With that in...
