Captialism is an economic system where trade and industry are under private ownership rather than government.

In early 19 centuries the Industrial revolution was under wide spread and the countries are seeing boom in development at that point of time.

US is one major country where after industrilisation took place had major development took place. At that time there was less interference of government and the private ownership were established where they created the factors of production thus the development of economy. So as a result the capitalism had been started in US and many other countries thus due to this success of captialism it is still continued in US and it emerged as a super powerful nation in the world.
