Learning a foreign language is considered to be important in 21st century. It will be beneficial and very helpful for the person provided that he/she is given an overseas assignment. The person will not face any problem in translating and understanding the language of other countries while working on overseas assignmments. Some of the considerable benefits of learning a foreign language are:

  • It increases job opportunities for the learner. If a person is fluent in a foreign language, then s/he gets an advantage over the other job seekers.
  • Also, in certain cases, a person knowing more than two or more languages receives a higher salary.
  • There are many career growth opportunities.
