A law should be made so that firms are not able to fire workers for exercising their right to free speech, assembly, or other basic freedoms. Will such a law make firms more or less productive, and why? Think about how such a law would (or would not) affect your own performance at your job.
Such a law would definitely dampen the productivity of the workers. Workers need a conducive environment to enhance their productivity. A law which would take away their right to speech and basic freedown would create a negative environment in the firm. The workers would always be in fear and this would also create a depressing atmosphere in a firm. With such feelings, workers will not able to give their 100% in the jobs they are performing. Thus, such a law will decrease the productivity of the workers.
